 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).  In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper until meat is no longer pink; drain.  Add tomatoes, broth and tomato paste to beef mixture; simmer for 10 minutes.    Transfer mixture to pie crust. Brush edge of crust with egg yolk mixture.   Bake for 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
