In a large pot, bring the consomme to a boil.

Add the diced meat and cook until heated through.

Ingredients: • 1 puff pastry sheet • 1/2 pound ground beef • 1/2 cup diced onion • 1 carrot, peeled and diced • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour • 1 cup beef or chicken stock • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).   2. On a lightly floured surface, roll pastry to a thickness of one-fourth inch (.5 cm). Trim even with edge of pan.     3. Line pan with pastry; trim pastry even with edge of pan. Prick pastry several times with fork; bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven.     4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook beef and onion until meat is browned; drain off fat.. Stir in flour, stock, thyme, and pepper; bring to a boilCook for 2 minutes longer..    5 Pour mixture over crust . Bake for 20 minutes longer . Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes before cutting
